Recurring Tab Overview

The Recurring program in Power Pet Sitter allows you to dictate how often an appointment is populated into this tab. When you schedule an appointment you have several options.
‘This is a recurring appointment…‘
- Every week – This will populate an appointment with the set information spanning a week.
- Every 2 weeks – This will populate an appointment with the set information spanning 14 days.
- Every 4 weeks – This will populate an appointment with the set information spanning 30 days.
- Every Month – This option adheres to Calendar months and will populate the appointment inside of the following month.
Every appointment selected as a recurring, will populate into this tab for the Admin or office staff to schedule. It duplicates the original appointment and holds the information from showing in schedules or on revenue reports until that time.
Once you hit ‘Schedule’, you will be directed to the Manage Appointment page, where you can assign sitters, adjust the schedule or adjust prices. The next instance of that appointment will appear in this tab, ready for the next needed instance of scheduling.
Frequently asked questions:
Q: If I make a change in the appointment, will that change be included in the future appointments?
A: No. PPS will recreate the appointment as it was initially entered. Should you need to make a change to a recurring appointment, you will need to delete the recurring appointment from this tab and reschedule it with your changes.
Q: Do I get any notice if a recurring appointment is deleted?
A: Yes. You will get an email for each instance that has been deleted, with the appointment name, Client name and the name of the User that deleted it.
Q: What happens if I don’t hit ‘Schedule’?
A: The system will only load one instance of each recurring appointment, so if you don’t schedule it, more will not populate.
